North Sound Root Canal Specialists is a well-established and highly efficient Endodontics private practice located in Bellingham, WA. The North Sound team is seeking a dynamic, full-time Dental Assistant who is a problem-solver, quick learner, flexible, and embraces a can-do attitude.
$23.00 - $27.00 depending on experience
Full Time (hours vary) | 4-Day Work Week | Monday – Thursday

*$1000.00 sign on bonus with ½ paid out after 3 months of consecutive employment and the other half after 6 months of consecutive employment
*Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Hepatitis B
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area;positioning instruments for endodontist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments.
Taking X-rays and CBCT scans and discussing possible findings with patients.
Acquire all pertinent information from the patient to provide a case presentation to the dentist.
Documented dental care services by charting in patient notes and final reports to dentist.
Rotating on-call schedule responding to patient emergencies (paid additional while on call).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

1-3+ years dental assisting experience (preferred) – We are willing to train and encourage new grads to apply!
X-ray & CPR certification (preferred).
Knowledge of endodontics (preferred).
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Hard-working and driven.
Team player, compassionate with a positive attitude.
Embraces a can-do attitude, is a self-starter and very flexible.
Dynamic thinker and problem-solver.
A quick learner, takes great direction and embraces constructive feedback.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 32 per week
