Job Description
Our privately-owned and multi-generational general dentistry practice in Advance (Bermuda Run), NC is seeking a competent, dependable, friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, and caring registered dental hygienist. We are a locally grown Father-Daughter practice that strives to develop relationships with all patients to help pave the way for them to better make healthcare decisions that work best for them. We are the antithesis of corporate dentistry with no plans for that to change. Routine hygiene appointments are 60 minutes. New patient appointments are normally scheduled for two hours with the first hour consisting of the doctor and assistant taking the necessary diagnostic records and then the patient being moved over to the hygienist. We see a good mix of ages and have a fairly vibrant periodontal program. Our main software is Dentrix and our imaging is through Dexis. Although we consider ourselves to be up to date with modern equipment and technology, the next couple of years will include even more new and exciting ways of delivering quality dental healthcare with the latest advances. We accept most dental insurance plans, but do not participate in the practice-killing âin-networkâ provider game AT ALL. Our ideal hygiene team member will be expected to work hard and contribute to the Team efforts in every way possible. You will NOT be doing panoramic films instead of FMXs, and you will need to know your way around sterilization. Our Team is small, and close, and gets along and everyone pulls their weight and pitches in to help advance our goal of providing optimal clinical results for those we treat.
