Job Overview
Hello! We are Illinois Family Dentistry. We are a new state of the art practice that is searching for an associate general dentist to join our team. Our patient base has grown and we are looking for an associate that could fill the demand.
Compensation will be based on experience but very competitive. We are happy to discuss these details with the right doctor that wants to join a growing successful practice. This is a full-time position.
Duties
- Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, root canals, and extractions- Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases- Create treatment plans and educate patients on oral health care- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care- Utilize medical documentation systems such as Open Dental- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Stay current with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.- Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent.- Current licensure to practice dentistry in the state.- Proven experience in a dental setting, with a strong focus on patient care and communication.- Strong familiarity with Open Dental and other dental software.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Skills
- Valid dental license in Texas- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a dentist- Proficiency with Open Dental software.- Experience in four-handed dentistry.- Knowledge of medical documentation and coding systems.- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control measures.- Experience with systems and technology used in dental practices.- Commitment to patient care and safety.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
