Dental Assistant - The Endo house - Huntington Beach, CA

Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using CAD and Epic software- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office's appointment calendar- Handle administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and managing patient billing
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program- X-ray certification (if required by state)- Knowledge of medical coding and medical records management- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well with a team and provide exceptional patient care- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
