Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - RUPERT FAMILY DENTISTRY - Aberdeen, WA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and fun Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing excellent patient care and maintaining efficient dental office operations.
Responsibilities:

Preparing patients for, and assisting the doctor during, dental work
Helping with infection control by disinfecting and sterilizing instruments, setting up instrument trays and treatment rooms, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures
Dental cleanings for children and Oral Hygiene Instructions
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary
Proficiency with digital dental radiographs
Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist
Evaluate supplies and assist in ordering

Experience:
- Prior experience in dental assisting- Proficiency in using dental software a plus- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations- Understanding of infection control protocols, including OSHA and HIPAA regulations- Ability to manage dental records accurately- Cross-trained experience in dental receptionist duties is a plus
