Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional customer service and patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Utilize dental software systems
Assist with dental procedures as needed, providing support to the dentist during treatments.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and techniques.
ExperienceCandidates should possess outstanding customer service skills, along with a strong foundation in general dentistry with knowledge of anatomy, infection control, medical terminology, and medical coding. Proficiency in using dental software systems will be considered an asset. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
