Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team. Experience with pediatric dentistry and familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix is highly desirable.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Assess and document patient dental histories, including vital signs and medical coding.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with health regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, providing compassionate care to younger patients.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and hygiene.
Experience in patient care within general dentistry or pediatric settings is preferred.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
