Dental Assistant - Pure Dentistry Children & Adults - Santa Clarita, CA

We are a long standing family dental office that strives to provide the highest level of dental care to our patients. We are determined to create a happy and comfortable environment for our patients and team members. We are looking for a licensed DENTAL ASSISTANT or RDA with 3 years minimum experience preferable to assist with general dentistry procedures, who is Team-Oriented, Enthusiastic, and Caring, to join our growing practice!
This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified individual.
Responsibilities while following all OSHA/HIPPA guidelines:

Welcome patients to the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Set up instruments, equipment and materials needed  Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake and complete lab tasks in a timely manner
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Take quality digital X-rays
Familiar with Invisalign/ Clear Correct
Prepare outgoing lab cases and follow-up with and stock incoming lab cases
Keep patient rooms clean and well stocked

Qualifications: 3 years of experience as Dental Assistant, licensed RDA preferred  High school diploma or GED required

Current CPR certification preferred
Experience with Open Dental dental software and Dentrix preferred
Radiology Certification preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Someone who is organized and takes initiative to complete needed tasks rather being instructed to do so.
