Overview:
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. We are seeking a skilled professional who is passionate about promoting good dental hygiene and patient education. We a fully digital office using Open Dental Software.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning procedures- Conduct oral cancer screenings and review patients' medical history- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Digital x-rays- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
