Registered Dental Hygienist - Complete Dental Care - Brooklyn, NY

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis and cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.
Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify signs of oral diseases, such as cavities or periodontal issues.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to protect patients' teeth from decay.
Assess patients' periodontal health and provide appropriate treatment, such as scaling and root planning
Maintain infection control standards, including sterilization of dental instruments and adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor and record patients' medical histories, including any relevant medications or conditions that may affect dental treatment.
Document treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress in dental records accurately and thoroughly.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and assist in treatment planning.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and research.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for patients
Listen to patient concerns and provide empathetic care
