Position Details:

Compensation: $50.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 32 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, or as needed).
Lunch Breaks: Flexible options for a 1-hour unpaid lunch or a 20-minute paid lunch.
Pay Frequency: biweekly

Primary Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist at Blue Hill Peninsula Dental, you will:

Deliver exceptional hygiene services, including cleanings, periodontal care, sealants, impressions, fluoride applications, and more.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans, advocating for optimal dental health.
Collaborate with the dental team to determine patient needs and provide personalized care.
Maintain and restock supplies, sterilize instruments, and ensure operatory readiness.
Assist the doctor with simple restorations and other tasks as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients and team members, fostering a respectful and compassionate environment.

Qualifications:

Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Maine.
Proficient in standard dental hygiene procedures, including local anesthesia administration and scaling/root planning.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
