Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Ontario, CA
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take dental x-rays
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical records
Conduct patient assessments, including taking blood pressure and reviewing medical history
Assist with pediatric dental procedures and provide a comfortable environment for children
Utilize computer software dentrix and dexis
Assist with documentation using electronic health record systems like Epic
Experience
Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plusExperience with dexis for dental restorations is beneficial
