Dental Hygienist - Genesis Dental - Seattle, WA

Fun office that is quickly growing and we are looking for someone who can help us do another column of hygiene Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8-5 with an hour lunch.We use Dentrix, and usually you will have single column, but we are looking for someone who is also willing to do assisted when needed.Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control procedures, and familiarity with dental software systems.We use Dentrix, and usually you will have single column, but we are looking for someone who is willing to do assisted. There are bonuses available to compensate for hard work.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Collaborate with dentists in treatment planning for general dentistry and pediatric dentistry cases.
Utilize medical coding for accurate billing and insurance processing.
Stay updated on advancements in dental practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with dental terminology is essential.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is required.
Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is a plus.
A background in pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
