OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional dental care to children, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the dental process. You will work closely with our pediatric dentists to promote oral health and educate young patients and their families about proper dental hygiene practices. We are looking for part time and one saturday a month. COMPENSATION IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND IS NEGOTIABLE
DutiesAs a Pediatric Dental Hygienist, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough patient assessments and documenting findings in dental records
Performing dental cleanings and applying preventive treatments
Educating patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
Reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
Utilizing Curve Dental software for patient management and record keeping
Performing dental imaging as required for patient diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols

ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess:

A valid dental hygiene license with experience in pediatrics preferred
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical records systems
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children and their guardians
A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly, supportive manner
