```Duties:```- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized dental care instructions- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic)- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
```Qualifications:```- Valid dental hygienist license in CT- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Proficient in using dental practice management systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic)- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records- Strong understanding of oral health and dental hygiene principles- Ability to work well in a team environment
