Job OverviewWe are family owned dental practices serving our communities for over 8 years. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dental team to deliver comprehensive care and support.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy on patients.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Curve Hero dental software.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment for all procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills
Proficient in medical imaging and familiar with medical coding practices.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and anatomy.
Experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records is advantageous.
Competence in aseptic technique to maintain safety standards during procedures.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
