Job Description
**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice part-time Wednesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in dental assisting, infection control, and general dentistry practices. **Responsibilities:** - Perform dental hygiene procedures to ensure patients' oral health. - Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care. - Take and develop dental x-rays. - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft. - Assist the dentist during procedures. - Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. - Conduct vital sign assessments and record patient information accurately. **Skills:** - Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge. - Experience with Epic or similar electronic health records systems. - Familiarity with dental office operations and patient care. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients.
