DENTAL HYGIENIST
Looking for a full time or part time Registered Dental Hygienist with a currentNew Jersey license. Current office hours are: Monday 9AM - 5PM Tuesday/Thursday 3PM - 8PM Wednesday 9AM - 6PM Friday 8AM - 1PM every other Saturday 8-1.(Saturday hours are from September through June). Our single doctor office is seeking an outgoing, friendly and motivated candidate that has excellent time management skills and one who is willing to be a team player. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies.
Qualifications and responsibilities include: proficiency with computers and digital x rays. Dentrix knowledge. Efficiency with maintaining charts and treatment plans. Managing time to keep Doctor and patients on schedule.Ability to multi-task and take initiative. Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible. Sterilize and package dental instruments properly. Conduct mouth screenings and health history.Identify conditions such as caries, gingivitis or periodontitis. Clean and protect patient’s teeth (remove plaque or apply fluoride). Maintain documentation and charts of all patients. Monitor supplies. In depth knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations. CPR certified.
