OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist and/or assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and enhancing the patient experience.
Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
Schedule and confirm appointments using OpenDental software.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related questions.
Maintain accurate patient records, including health information management.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient patient flow within the practice.
Utilize phone etiquette to manage incoming calls professionally.

Requirements

Familiarity with dental software is highly desirable.
Strong skills in health information management and insurance verification processes.
Excellent patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all patients.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
