Job Description
Seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to be part of the team. Must be ambitious and have a professional and pleasant demeanor to help provide quality and caring dental care to our patients.
Clinical tasks
Preparing patients and disinfecting treatment areas for procedures
Capturing digital X-rays
Receiving lab cases and sending them out to the lab for processing
Assisting chairside with procedures like fillings, crowns, and extractions
Sterilizing dental instruments
Making dental impressions
Post-procedure clean-up
Keeping accurate records of dental treatments in practice management software
Ensuring patients are comfortable in the dental chair
Helping patients feel comfortable
Ensuring patients' questions are answered thoroughly
Treatment room management
Keeping dental units ready, stocked, and clean
Overseeing cleanliness of the treatment room
Administrative tasks
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Checking in patients
Answering the phone
Working with patients on billing and payment
Sending out reminder cards to patients
Coding insurance bills
Processing invoices and payments
Working on recall appointments
Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills to ensure a smooth schedule and work flow.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
