Dental Assistant - Taylor Meadows Dental - Lincoln, NE

Our dental office is looking for a full time Dental Assistant to join our team. Our ideal team member is one who is patient focused, team oriented and a self-starter. No dental experience is necessary. We are looking for someone who works well with others, and has a strong attention to details. Does this sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Monday - Thursday - approximately 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
Two Friday's per month - approximately 7:45 am - 12:00 pm (32-36 hours / week)
Seat patients before dental procedures
Assist dentists chairside during treatment
Walkout patients after treatment
Disinfect treatment rooms and set up for next procedure
Take dental x-rays (with certification)
Coronal polish (with certification)
Sterilize instruments in sterilization area
Schedule patients for future appointments
Assist hygienists with periodontal charting, sealants, and turning rooms around for next hygiene patient
Manage patient cases to and from dental lab
Routine maintenance of equipment
Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism

Qualifications

Outstanding communication skills
Highly motivated and a self-starter
Excellent customer service skills
Strong computer skills (Open Dental experience beneficial)
Previous dental experience beneficial, but not required
