Responsibilities:
· Conduct patient screening procedures, including assessing oral health conditions, and reviewing health history.
· Thoroughly remove calculus and plaque deposits from all surfaces of the teeth.
· Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides to promote oral health.
· Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies, including tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
· Counsel patients on the importance of good nutrition and its impact on oral health.
· Collaborate with dentists to recommend treatment plans and ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
· Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the dental team.
Requirements:
· State Dental Hygiene Licensure.
· Active CPR Certification.
