Dental Assistant - Kids First Dental Group - Peoria, IL

Looking for an upbeat and energetic individual to fill a Dental Assistant position within our office. Our ideal candidate has previous experience working as a Dental Assistant, enjoys working with children and projects confidence when talking with parents.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the doctor with dental exams and various treatment procedures
Instrument preparation and sterilization
Chairside operation (suction, instrument handling etc)
Taking radiograph x-rays
Mixing and preparing cement/filling materials
Patient education
Conducting post-operative and post-treatment procedures as indicated by the dentist
Update and maintain patient records with accuracy and efficiency

* Position is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
** Salary is negotiable based on experience and skill level.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 24 per week
