We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Dental Hygienist at Smile Effect Dental, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental hygiene services and educating patients on their oral health. You will work closely with our dentist to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and patient screenings.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Document patient treatment and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans and patient care.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Stay updated on dental hygiene best practices and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming office atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
