Job Description

An established private dental practice is seeking a skilled and mature Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years of experience who is confident in chairside assisting for general dentistry, oral surgery, sedation, and orthodontics.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the doctor chairside, ensuring optimal visibility and a clean, organized work area.
Set up and break down rooms efficiently for each procedure.
Keep records of patient's vitals and sedation.
Take digital X-rays and CBCT scans as needed.
Fabricate temporary crowns, pack cord, seat crowns, and clean cement, remove sutures.
Perform scanning, impressions, and retraction for enhanced procedural visibility.
Take intra oral and extra oral pictures for orthodontics.
Keep accurate records of treatment and assist in treatment planning and phasing.
Communicate with the front office to schedule patient follow-ups and maintain an efficient workflow.
Ensure patient comfort and provide clear post-treatment instructions.
Maintain a high standard of infection control and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications:

Active RDA license in good standing.
CPR and OSHA training (current certification required).
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and terminology.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with a patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
