About us
Located on Upper Market Street in San Francisco, we are an ultra modern and high tech preventative and restorative dental practice. We also treat sleep apnea. We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our patients. Prior dental assistant experience is required. You must be customer service oriented, a team player, and a fast learner. We need someone who enjoys working within a team and desires a positive upbeat environment
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, preparing patients for treatment, and providing other support as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
Assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain patient records and prepare insurance forms.
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Assist with laboratory procedures such as taking impressions and making casts.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Ensure that all instruments are properly stored and maintained.

Qualifications- Chairside assisting experience- Proficiency in dental terminology and 3D scanner operation- Skilled in aseptic technique and anatomy knowledge- Experience in dental assisting and customer service- Excellent communication skills- Understanding of HIPAA regulations- Ability to take vital signs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
