Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional support to our dental team, and delivering outstanding patient care. This position requires a good understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a sterile and organized environment. EDDA experience is NOT needed. Primary duty will involve coronal polishing and taking x-rays.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure the clinic is compliant with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Manage patient flow by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a clean environment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care.
Perform Coronal Polishing on patients
Prepare and take bite wing and periapical x-rays

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting mandatory.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is desirable.
