Job Description

Our practice located in Fort Lauderdale/Tamarac is looking to hire a positive and friendly Dental Assistant. Willing to train the right candidate. New Dental Assisting program graduates and foreign trained dental professionals are welcome to apply! Position is 25-30 hours a week to start with the opportunity to taken on more hours in the future. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Job responsibilities include:

Communicating with patients before, during and after dental procedures
Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
Caring for dental equipment
Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics
Giving patients information on dental hygiene and oral health care
Presenting treatment options to patients
Dental Assisting experience is an asset but not required.
