Dental Assistant - Family General Dentistry - Stockton, CA

Job Overview:
We are a private dental office seeking a highly motivated, reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. This is an IMMEDIATE opening for RDA/DA full time position Monday-Thursday.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilization
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Record patient medical history
- Maintain accurate dental records and ensure proper medical documentation
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Familiarity with Dentrix Practice Management software is highly desired
- Experience in digital CAD/CAM and 3D Printing is highly desired
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification from an accredited Dental Assistant program

X-ray certification required
Coronal polishing certification required
Pit & fissure sealant certification required

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
- Proficient in handling dental imaging equipment and taking x-rays
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
