Responsibilities:- Perform X-ray imaging procedures on patients as directed by dentists- Assist the dentist chairside during dental procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during dental procedures- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:- Certifications as a MD Dental Radiologic Technologist and MD Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)- Knowledge of imaging techniques and procedures- Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy- Proficiency in taking vital signs and documenting patient information- Familiarity with Open Dental software for dental practice management is a plus- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
