Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office is committed to providing exceptional care. We value both our patients and our team. We are looking for a motivated, energetic dental hygienist to join our family oriented practice. Hourly rate is negotiable.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct medical imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Review patient documentation and medical records to ensure accurate treatment history.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices.
Assist in pediatric dentistry, providing specialized care for children and ensuring a positive experience.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Implement infection control protocols to safeguard patient health and safety.
Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes.
Requirements
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Strong skills in medical imaging and documentation review are essential.
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques is necessary.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care.
