Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Hygienist who will enjoy working in a patient-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing a smooth and efficient workflow within a fast-paced office, while providing high quality patient care. With strong education on speaking/interacting with patients and ensuring patient comfort. This position requires strong understanding of dental procedures and good communication skills.
Our office is a well-established single doctor office. Dr. Muff has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. If you would like to work with a fun-loving and compassionate doctor and team in a positive and respectful environment, we would like to learn more about you.
Part Time Position
Working two days a week, Wednesdays from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Thursday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Responsibilities

Take Dental X-rays
Maintain infection control protocols
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment
Taking images with dental technologies
Good understanding of Periodontal disease
Comfortable treating early stages of Perio disease with Scaling and Root Planing

Experience

1 + year of experience as Dental Hygienist (preferred but not required)
Knowledge of infection control protocols and antiseptic technique

Requirements

Current PA RHS Certification (Dental X-ray certification)
Current CPR Certification (or should obtain)
