Job Description
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Requirements:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
