We urgently need to hire one full time and one part time dental assistant position. We prefer hiring individuals with long term goals in this field. One of our assistants is on maternity leave and will be coming back for a part time position in March. Once she returns from maternity leave, whoever is hired will only work part time for up to 22 hours per week. Our lead dental assistant is also leaving our office because of retirement. That position is full time up to 38 hours a week. We desire someone with experience but are willing to train someone that is highly motivated. All new applicants will be trained for chairside assisting with the following procedures: amalgams, composites, crown and bridge, impressions for appliances, pouring models, sealants, root canals, x-rays, temporary crown fabrication, and crown delivery. Training is possible for individuals that are extremely willing to learn, are excellent at listening and paying attention, fast paced, takes constructive criticism well, and does well under pressure. Applicants will be fully trained with sterilization, disinfection, and proper wear of PPE. We would like applicants who are determined to learn, be positive and kind, is eager to work and stay busy, is on time, and has a good attendance record. Our office is very laid back and happy but serious about our duties at the same time. We take care of our employees and offer free lunch meals in addition to other benefits. We would like to hire someone that wants a long career in our office.
