Job OverviewAre you a compassionate dental assistant capable of providing quality care with efficiency and still have fun? Established full-service dental office seeks full time dental assistant responsible for all aspects of patient care. This position requires multi-tasking, computer skills, great communication skills, and positive attitude. Applicants must be a registered dental assistant through the Washington Department of Health.
Our team of dedicated dental professionals must engage our patients in an efficient and personalized manner, providing the comfort and care they deserve. The successful applicant will be cross-trained to handle various aspects of the office environment. Dentrix is our office software, experience with it is a plus.
This is a full-time position - 4 days per week with alternating Mondays & Fridays off. We have family friendly hours of 6:55a - 5p four days per week.

Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take x-rays as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Assist with administrative tasks such as medical documentation and coding when needed.
Skills
Proficiency in various dental procedures such as Endo, implants, & surgery
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology for dental imaging.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of infection control practices to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Ability to accurately document patient information and treatment details.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
