Job Description
OverviewWe are Pediatric Dental office seeking a passionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality and exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working with children in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Self Motivating
Assist Dentist during procedure, perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, impressions, and assisting.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vita signs. Providing post-Operative instructions as directed by the Dentist
Knowledge in Open dental and dental terminology
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care and provide patient education and support.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Support the front office with receptionist duties when needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Ensure a clean and welcoming environment
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; familiarity with four-handed dentistry is a plus.
Knowledgeable CDT codes
Experience with 3D scanners or other advanced dental technology is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Pediatric care.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training.
Ortho experience a plus but not required
