Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Expanded Functional Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Support dentists during examinations and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Experience
- a minimum of 2 years of Dental Assisting is preferred
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with medical records and dental terminology
- Understanding of anatomy and prosthodontics
- Ability to record vital signs accurately
- Experience with dental software such as Open dental
