Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing teeth.
Assess and chart periodontal conditions, including probing depths and identifying areas of concern.
Administer fluoride treatments and provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques.
Utilize iTero scanning for impression-taking and other procedures as needed.
Work with patients on preventive care, providing tailored recommendations for maintaining oral health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our system.
Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to ensure the highest level of care.
Assist in the implementation of patient care plans, including Curodont for caries management when appropriate.
Ensure that the dental room and equipment are sanitized and properly maintained.
Stay up to date with current dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience preferred, but not required.
Experience with periodontal care, including scaling and root planing.
Familiarity with Curodont and iTero scanning is a plus.
Current state license to practice as a dental hygienist.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and build rapport with patients.
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and focused on patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
