Job Description
Implant & Periodontal Associates NW is seeking a passionate, skilled, and motivated part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice!

As a registered dental hygienist, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for providing top-tier preventative care to patients with a variety of periodontal needs. You will collaborate closely with the doctor, assistants, and front office team to deliver personalized treatment and educating patients on maintaining their oral health.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough periodontal cleanings, scaling, and root planing for patients.
Performing LANAP and LAPIP treatments for patients (on-the-job training will be conducted).
Assist with the evaluation and diagnosis of periodontal health.
Assist with numbing patients in preparation for surgical procedures.
Sterilizing instruments.
Periodontal charting for patient exams.
Take CBCT scans, radiographs, intraoral photos, etc.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
Document and update patient records accurately and thoroughly.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns they may have.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
Valid Registered Dental Hygiene (RDH) license in Washington State. This must be kept current and up-to-date at all times while employed at our practice.
Experience in periodontal hygiene is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Knowledge of periodontal disease, treatment options, and preventative care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality care.
