Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. This is a part-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays using digital imaging systems- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Administer local anesthesia as needed- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Ohio- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques- Familiarity with dental office operations and workflows- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Radiology Certification
