Registered Dental Hygienist - Eby Family Dental - Jefferson, WI

Eby Family Dental of Jefferson is a thriving Dental office. This office is our second location. Our primary office is located in Fort Atkinson, WI. We are thrilled to be expanding our Jefferson location and opening up more days per week as our patient base grows.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Jefferson team. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing quality dental care to patients, performing oral health assessments, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting oral health.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and preventive procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software systems (Dentrix)
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (Dentrix)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
