Job Description

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our fun, thriving, team oriented and well-established private practice in Zeeland! In our patient-centered office, you will play a crucial part in promoting oral health, educating patients, and providing exceptional patient care. The position is full-time, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Number of working days can be negotiable. The right candidate will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive dental hygiene services, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care.

Local anesthetic and nitrous certification a plus. Eaglesoft software experience preferred. Digital X-ray experience required.
*Duties*
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submitting to relevant parties.
- Assist in the management of patient flow, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions.
- Conduct vital signs assessments as part of the initial patient evaluation process.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to a variety of patients of all ages.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Qualifications*
- Valid dental hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.
- Experience in general dentistry preferred; familiarity with Eaglesoft is a huge plus.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
- Experience with medical imaging technology is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
