Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Louis Lasky Memorial Medical and Dental. In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting oral health and providing quality care to our patients, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding dental services. We are looking for M, T, Th: 12p-8p, S: 8:30a-3:30p.
Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and provide preventative care to patients.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize easy to follow dental software for patient management and record-keeping.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of New York.
Current Malpractice Liability Coverage for Suffolk County, New York
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Experience with dental software is preferred.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively.
Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
Knowledge with OSHA compliance.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and teamwork.
