Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. This position requires a proactive individual that has a strong understanding of dental procedures and medical documentation. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
