Dental Assistant - Eastern Avenue Dental - Middle River, MD

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and to join our established practice (non-HMO) in Middle River, Maryland. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information.
Manage patient appointments and assist with scheduling as a receptionist when required.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping. (If new with Dentrix, we will teach)
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dental operatory.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus, but not required.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Any front desk experience is a plus, but not required.
