Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene, and supporting the dental team in delivering comprehensive oral health services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to educate patients on maintaining their oral health.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
Conduct medical imaging procedures such as X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with dental standards.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry during procedures.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and documentation review processes.
Experience in patient care with a focus on comfort and education.
Ability to perform medical imaging effectively.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques is a plus.
