Job Description
We are a long established office focusing on the best quality experience for our patients. We are looking to add another RDH to our team for 2 days a week. We allocate enough time with each patient so you do not feel rushed and can interact with the patient. We are a slow paced office so you will never feel rushed or pressured. Must be comfortable working with loupes. Again, this is for a part time position. Days: Tuesday's and Thursday's 1-7pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtaining and reviewing patient histories, x-rays, and oral health history forms.
Conducting dental hygiene exams and impressions.
Assessing oral health such as caries, periodontitis, and periodontitis.
Assessing for need of preventative care.
Assessing for potential treatments.
Assessing for compliance with treatment plans.
Assessing for understanding of the patient's oral health history.
Dental charting for patients.
Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and providing educational materials to patients when appropriate.
Cleaning and preparing instruments, equipment, and work space as needed to facilitate efficient patient care.
Experience: Minimum: 1 year of Dental Hygiene experience (Preferred)Education: Hygiene Degree
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
