Job Description
QCHC is looking for an energetic, experienced Customer Care Representative to join our Dental team! As a team player, you will be responsible for supporting the Dental Department by managing the dental appointment schedule and performing assigned clerical and administrative duties. The candidate must exhibit a positive attitude and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manages dental appointment schedule.
Responsible for patient registration check in and check out.
Explains dental and clinic billing policies.
Verifies current insurance status, coordination of benefits, detailing insurance breakdowns, calculating patient responsibility and collecting payments as necessary.
Creates, manages and updates dental case for every appointment.
Navigate EDR to find planned treatment and completed procedures.
Determine if prior authorization is required using the appropriate insurance portal.
Document and process all activity and communication related to dental specialist referrals in EDR including radiographic images.
Answer and route calls to the appropriate department.
Communicates quality of care issues to Supervisor and participates in the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles to improve performance on targeted metrics.
Applicant must possess a basic level of written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills, and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program.
Bilingual Spanish/English or English/Russian is preferred but not required.
Travel between work sites as needed.
