# Job OverviewWe are growing at Pisgah Pediatric Dentistry and seeking a caring Dental Assistant to join our brand new pediatric dental office! The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dental assisting and knowledge of dental terminology. We are excited to find the right team-mate as we grow!
# Responsibilities- Be a team member!- Prepare patients for dental work and obtain their medical history- Obtain radiographs and coronal polish- Provide patients with instructions for oral health care following dental treatment procedures- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment processes
# Qualifications- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Familiarity with computer based systems for patient records management (we use Curve Dental)- Comfortable to take patient radiographs and provide coronal polishing- Knowledge of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) use.

Our office will be seeing patients Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and Fridays 8:30-2:30
