Dental Assistant with Xray license - GPC Dental - Dr. Cecilio Po - Cedar Grove, NJ

Overview:
We are looking for a part-time Dental Assistant with a valid x-ray license to join our friendly, upbeat, and, most importantly, easy–going office. This is a 20-25 hour/ week position.
The start date is late February 2025. Training is involved in the office's flow and using the EMS machine for Guided Biofilm Therapy.
A valid NJ radiograph license is required.
Must be able to communicate clearly and use a walkie-talkie.
This is a part-time dental assistant position with a valid X-ray license! Some duties are taking X-rays, resetting the room, sterilizing instruments, and scanning patients for Invisalign and Health wellness scans.
Candidate must be able to work hand in hand with doctor and other team members.
The office is open: This part-time position is 20-25 hours weekly.
Monday and Wednesday, 8:45am – 6:15pm. Lunch is between 1-2pm.
Tuesday and Thursday, 8:45-5:15pm, lunch is between 1-2pm.

Duties
As a Dental assistant, you will be responsible for:
· Taking radiographs
· Scanning patients for wellness scans.
· Assisting the doctor during dental procedures.
· Resetting dental operatories
· Sterilization of instruments
· Keeping supplies and instruments stocked and ready to go
· Cleaning of the office
· Charting
· Scheduling appointments
· Applying fluoride
· And anything else that needs to be done to help the team.
· There is never a wrong time to do the right thing.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
